The Sensible Girl

My name is Sally and I am an artist, illustrator and author.

 

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Art + Media Studies and I specialise in acrylic painting and linocut printmaking. 

 

I try to inject a sense of joy and humour into everything I produce.  With a highly illustrative style, my portfolio resembles a giant picture book, full of bright colours and sweeping outlines. 

 

My A-Z of Places series covers everywhere from the rolling hills of Great Britain to the townscapes of Perth and regional Australia.

And in case you're wondering, The Sensible Girl is a character from my book called The Sensible Girl's Guide to Emigrating Elegantly.

​

I exhibit my work both in Perth and the South West. 

​
